NAT GEO GET CLOSER CALENDAR
THE CONCEPT
NatGeo Calendar: The 2016 National Geographic calendar will take you on a journey through the Middle East whilst unearthing hidden cultural gems, giving you a different perspective on popular sites and helping you get closer to the beauty around you. The iconic yellow frame will now serve yet another purpose and reinforce why National Geographic is the region’s number one storyteller of factual stories. The Calendar frame will be too the window to the most iconic and beautiful areas of UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Every day a different live steam/ recording can be shown with the coordinates and local information mentioned so that a person viewing the calendar can visit the site with ease if they choose to do so.
Each camera is placed in different locations constantly capturing video to send back to the calendar feed. These events can be viewed either live or as a recording depending on the event and Nat geo’s choosing. A user can also suggest locations to place the camera and use the #Natgeoeye to further the discussion on social media channels.
